"After the Vodafone in India another world’s largest mobile network provider company - Virgin mobile has entered in Indian market with various plans on lowers call rates. Specially, the company is targeting Indian youth. Virgin has launched also very attractive handsets on lower rates in India. Mainly, the company has been working for prepaid segment now. By this plan in all over India STD and local rates on prepaid by 50 paise/minute without any pack or extra cost has been introduced by the company.

The plan introduce first three minutes of a STD each day at Rs 1.50 paise per minute while for rest of the day it would be just 50 paise per minute for maximum up to 30 minutes.

After the Idea cellular the company is providing very lower call rates in India. However, there are many big companies like – Airtel, Vodafone, Tata Indicom, Reliance etc. In the Indian market in prepaid and post paid subscribers Reliance is biggest company. On the second position Airtel has sifted.  BSNL & MTNL are the biggest mobile network provider for landline. It has basic customer in some metropolitan city.

Virgin mobile is trying to get more and more customers in prepaid segment in India. It has planned to reduce lower call rates from other networks. It is UK’s best and biggest mobile network.

Virgin is trying to give decent mobile phones with network. So, it has made a great contract with various companies in India and all over world. Virgin has contracted with VSNL in India to provide network. It has contracted with Haire electronics to provide decent handsets.

The offer by Virgin mobile has been introduced to rule over Indian telecom sector. However, here is already big player in the network segment. Most of the metropolitan subscriber is going with easiest and cheapest mobile network with a handset in India.
