Leo Tolstoy was a famous writer from Russia. He was born in central Russia in 1828. After gotten his university degree he joined artillery regiment in the Caucasus in 1851. He took part in the Crimean War also. He married Sophie Behrs in 1862. In his long life he wrote many famous novels which lists are below:

In spite of these he wrote many books on short stories, stories, biography, articles etc. but most famous are War and Peace and Anna Karenina. War and Peace is world famous novel.
